Welcome to the LeConte Science blog. This blog is to serve several purposes. First, to provide a means of communication and increase awareness with respect to 4th and 5th grade Science at LeConte.
Second to provide another vehicle for students to notebook and share knowledge gained.
In general, it is also intended to serve as an information resource, a means of communication, and an archive of student work.

The eclipse was not as spectacular as the one in 2007, primarily due to clouds but I was happy to learn that so many of you were able to view it without having to stay up until 3:00AM
I am a Science Teacher at LeConte School. I have been teaching Science, Math, Anti-Bias curriculum, as well as all other subject areas for a number of years (in Berkeley and elsewhere). My other interests are Blues music, genealogy, and of course, Baseball.
